They maintain their shape better and offer a more natural look and feel, even during movement. Silicone implants have a low risk of deflation, but in rare cases, they can rupture, especially due to traumatic chest injury. Modern silicone implants are made with medical-grade silicone that doesn't migrate if a rupture occurs, but a rupture might increase the risk of capsular contracture.
